The short version

This website is here to provide useful real estate information and give you a way to contact me. I do not sell your personal information. I do not rent mailing lists. I do not use information from Google accounts for advertising. If you send me a message, I use it to respond to you and, if you specifically ask to be added to future mailings, to do that.

The site also uses optional analytics. You can decline analytics and still use the site.

Information you choose to provide

If you use the contact form, I may receive your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the contents of your message, and whether you checked the box asking to receive future mailings. I use that information to respond to your inquiry, communicate with you about the matter you contacted me about, and maintain normal business records.

Checking the mailing-list box is optional. Sending me a contact-form message by itself does not sign you up for future marketing emails.

Website analytics and cookies

This site can use optional analytics to help me understand things such as which pages people visit and whether the site is useful. Analytics are controlled through the privacy choices shown on the site. If you choose necessary functions only, optional analytics are not loaded.

The site may use browser storage or similar technology to remember your privacy choice and to support ordinary site operation. If advertising technology is added in the future, it will be treated separately from analytics rather than quietly folded into an analytics choice.

Google account data used by KBRE Website Automation

I use a private Google OAuth application called KBRE Website Automation for a limited website-administration workflow. It is not a public service that visitors sign into, and it does not ask website visitors to connect their Google accounts.

The automation is authorized only against a dedicated Gmail account that I control. Its purpose is narrow: it sends me a daily email containing real estate news links for review, and it reads replies to those review messages so that my explicit approval can determine which links are published on this website.

The application requests Gmail permission to send those review messages and read mailbox content needed to identify and process the corresponding approval replies. It does not use Google account data for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or sale to third parties.

Google account information obtained through these permissions is used only to operate this workflow. I do not sell or transfer Google user data to data brokers, advertising platforms, or unrelated third parties. Access credentials are kept outside the public website and source repository.

Because this automation uses my own dedicated Google account, website visitors are not expected to grant it access to their Gmail or other Google data.

Third-party services

Running a website necessarily involves service providers. The site may rely on providers for web hosting, analytics when you allow it, email delivery, source-code hosting and other technical operations. Those providers may process limited information as needed to provide their services and are governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Links to outside websites are provided for convenience and reference. Once you follow an outside link, that site's privacy practices apply rather than this policy.

How long information is kept

I keep information only as long as it is reasonably useful for the purpose it was collected, normal business recordkeeping, security, troubleshooting, or legal obligations. Real estate transactions can have separate record-retention requirements, so information that becomes part of a brokerage or transaction record may be retained longer than an ordinary website inquiry.

Security

I use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information associated with this site and its automation. No website, email system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure, so I cannot promise absolute security.

Your choices

You can use the site without accepting optional analytics. You can reopen the site's Privacy choices from the footer and change that selection. You can also ask me to correct or delete personal information you previously submitted through the website, subject to information I may need to retain for legal, regulatory, transaction-record, security, or legitimate business-record purposes.

If you opted into future mailings, you can ask to be removed at any time.

Children's privacy

This is a residential real estate website intended for adults. I do not knowingly use the site to collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy when the website, its technology, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top tells you when it was last updated. Material changes to how information is handled will be reflected here.
